Mission Academy High School

Mission Academy High School provides state-accredited academics in a recovery based learning environment. Students master curriculum at an individualized pace through a blended approach of both traditional and computer-based coursework. Certified instructors guide students through secondary education supported by arts integration, college and career prep, physical wellness, and service learning hours.

Each student enrolled in our high school is asked to participate in our evening and weekend programs with family involvement. Teens enrolled in our programs are actively involved in more than 60 hours of activities each week!

Each student meets with our Program Director for a family evaluation determining an appropriate level of care. Before enrollment, a financial aid advisor will assess financial need and guide each family through the enrollment process. Our school has an open-door policy allowing students to enroll at any time during the school year.

Class meets daily from 8:30am to 3:00pm and operates on a year-round schedule. Our school is located on NW 70th and Classen in Oklahoma City.

Mission Peer Group

Mission Peer Group or “MPG” is a recovery support program for adolescents in drug and alcohol recovery and their families. Our research-based model combines community support groups, peer-to-peer relationships, and sober social events. Teens and parents find a supportive community of others experiencing similar challenges.

Four nights of the week, our recovery coaches and other staff lead group sessions for teens and families. Friday nights are reserved for fun social events planned and supervised by the recovery coach staff. Three times per year teens attend multi-day recovery retreats where they share around a campfire, hike, and do things like whitewater rafting or snowboarding. Learning that sobriety can be fun is key to lifelong change.

Email Ana Lankford, M.S., LMFT, Program Director at alankford@teenrecoverysolutions.org for Mission Peer Group meeting locations. Students are not required to be enrolled in Mission Academy High School to participate in this program.
