Teen Recovery Solutions is an Oklahoma City-based nonprofit reclaiming teens from substance abuse and addiction by providing a sober high school and recovery support.


Full time therapist sought for unique program serving teens and families working towards long term recovery. The ideal candidate will be a LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LADC (prefer LADC-MH). Fully licensed clinician is preferred, will consider under supervision. Supervision is not provided and is the responsibility of the candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to intake and assessment utilizing specific assessment tools; determining appropriateness for the program and being able to determine and refer to appropriate levels of care;  developing and implementing treatment plans with the involvement of the client, family, and treatment team; consulting with team members to review client’s progress; develop long term recovery plans individualized for each client’s specific needs; assess each client for risk and perform crisis intervention and referrals; maintain client files; document all necessary information; available to participate in and lead activities and events outside of usual business hours.


Requirements include a working knowledge of adolescent development and family systems, a desire to work with teens and their families, ability and willingness to participate in three retreats per year utilizing experiential therapies, knowledge of and experience with complex trauma, understanding of the addictive process and the complexities of recovery from substance abuse, and a working understanding of treating co-occurring diagnosis.


The ideal candidate is skilled in interviewing and assessment, has a minimum of two years of experience in group, individual, and family counseling, is well organized and can effectively communicate in both written and verbal form, is comfortable with public speaking, and is computer literate. Must be flexible and be comfortable in a school environment.


Must be available to work 3-4 evening per week.
Salary commiserate with experience.
