Teen Recovery Solutions is a nonprofit drug and alcohol recovery program designed for teens and their families. Our programs include a recovery high school and outpatient treatment.

Full-time position.  Master’s level degree in behavioral health related field.  LADC, LPC or LCSW licensed or working towards license.  Will consider student in last semester of Master’s program. Will consider CADC with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.  Responsibilities include but not limited to, review client assessment data, defining problem areas and determining treatment needs for the individual and family,  involvement of multi-disciplinary treatment team; responsible for formulating treatment plans with involvement of client and multi-disciplinary treatment team; consults with other staff members in reviewing client progress; develops long term recovery plan for each client; assesses individual clients for risk and performs crisis interventions as necessary; documents all necessary information; participates in weekend social events twice per month.

Knowledge of adolescent development and family systems, passion for working with teens and families, able to participate in wilderness retreats three times per year using experiential treatment interventions, experience with trauma based therapy, and chemical dependency counseling; of issues specific to dually diagnosed client and the effects of psychotropic medications;  of the dynamics of co-occurring disorders.

Skilled in interviewing, conducting individual, family, and group counseling, documentation, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, effective oral and written communication, following oral and written instructions and public speaking.  Organized and detail oriented.  Computer literate.

Knowledge of Adolescent/Family Intensive Outpatient Programs and programming. Ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of an adolescent/family IOP. Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week.
